How It Started
Every Order, Baked With Love
Taylored Cupcakes began as a passionate hobby in 2012. What started as simple baking for family and friends quickly evolved into a dedicated culinary business. Our founder fell in love with the art of dessert styling and the deep-seated joy that fresh-baked treats bring to life’s milestones.
Every single cupcake and cookie cake we bake is made entirely from scratch, utilizing fresh, high-quality ingredients. We believe every treat should be as delicious as it is beautiful. It is this dedication to flavor and texture that has helped us grow from a tiny home kitchen operation to serving thousands of happy clients.

There is nothing quite like the joy you get from connecting loved ones. Whether it's baking for a milestone celebration, collaborating to develop a unique design for a birthday gift, or delivering a surprise package from a parent to a college student because there isn't a way to mail a hug, getting to play a small part in your stories is an absolute privilege. I am so deeply thankful for each and every one of you who support my small business and the very best part of the whole journey has been how sweet it is to get to meet so many wonderful people along the way. Raleigh Years
2012
Hobby Turned Passion
Taylored Cupcakes begins as a home kitchen hobby, baking custom recipes for friends, birthdays, and community gatherings.
2013
Coffee Shops & The Angus Barn
We scale production by partnering with the Wake Forest Coffee Company to refine our core flavor list. An invitation to the Haunted Forest leads to catering relationships with the famous Angus Barn in Raleigh, NC, growing our weekly orders from dozens to thousands.
2014
Expanding Custom Designs
We expand our menu to include themed cupcake designs and custom decorating, becoming a go-to choice for local birthday parties and corporate celebrations.
Columbia Years
2015
Expanding to Columbia
We relocate our operations to Columbia, South Carolina, bringing our signature scratch-made recipes to the Midlands and building a loyal local following of cupcake lovers.
2019
Soda City Market
We ran a weekly storefront booth at Columbia's famous Soda City Market, serving fresh-baked cupcakes every Saturday morning to the bustling downtown community, until refocusing our efforts to meet the growing demand for custom orders.
2020
DIY Cupcake Decorating Kits
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we pivot to launch our DIY "you-bake" cupcake decorating kits. The kits become a massive hit, providing family baking activities for children and parents at home.
2025
Custom Cookie Cakes
By popular demand, we expand our kitchen to offer custom cookie cakes. Made from scratch with soft, chewy chocolate chip dough and styled with beautiful custom creamy vanilla frosting, they quickly become a signature favorite for milestones and graduations.
